About Inkagrill

The warm lighting and rustic décor create an inviting ambiance that complements the culinary experience well. Among the more memorable standout touches is a signature dish that balances smokiness with vibrant local flavors, demonstrating attention to ingredient quality and culinary tradition. While the pacing of the courses occasionally extends beyond a leisurely meal, the staff’s attentiveness helps maintain an easygoing rhythm. Browsing through Inkagrill photos found online reveals the care taken in plating, offering a preview that closely matches the actual presentation upon dining.

Quality ingredients shine through the varied offerings found on the Inkagrill menu, a detail often noted in multiple reviews. The fusion between traditional Peruvian elements and contemporary grills produces dishes that are both familiar and intriguingly fresh. Ambitious diners will find several options that resist straightforward classification but reward exploration with interesting spice combinations and textural contrasts. A slightly limited wine selection may keep some guests from fully indulging, but the charming setting and skill shown in preparation help compensate.

Customer impressions gathered from various third-party sources broadly praise the balance between service and atmosphere, though occasional remarks point to slower service during peak times. The layout of the restaurant encourages both intimate dinners and relaxed group gatherings, with seating arrangements that avoid feeling cramped. Even with the occasional wait, the overall experience tends to satisfy, aligning with what one expects from the vibrant dining scene in Cusco. Genuine local ingredients and culinary creativity make this restaurant worth consideration for those curious enough to explore beyond typical options.

Busy place. Make reservations. Started with beef carpaccio. Soooo good. It’s a must have if you like raw beef. I waited too long to write this and forgot what we ordered. One dish was chicken with a type of curry sauce and vegetables. The other was trout with sauce and vegetables and avocado. Definitely a place to return to

The food is good here, not excellent but very good for a tourist restaurant. Our guinea pig was but salty and expensive for half a pig. The scallops were delicious and plenty to go around. The oxtails were not as tender as I was used to. The chicken soup was flavorful without being salty The live music was very nice touch.

The atmosphere was absolutely lovely — warm, inviting, and full of good energy. Booking was effortless; everything was simple and straightforward from start to finish. The food was fantastic! Every dish was beautifully presented and tasted amazing. My colleagues and I all loved our meals — everyone left happy and satisfied. The location is perfect, right on the main square in Cusco, making it easy to find and a great spot to soak up the city’s lively vibe.

We had a lovely time here, courtesy of our waiter Jesus who was so patient and kind to explain each and every single dish to us. We had the alpaca, Guinea pig, and ceviche. Ceviche was amazing, highly recommend! alpaca and Guinea pig were interesting but tasted like chicken (as do most random meats).

Highly recommend. We had a hot chocolate, golden milk, Andean pancakes and French toast. Everything was delicious. The staff was wonderful and very helpful. Piero went above and beyond, gave us advice for adjusting to the altitude on our first day here. We will be back.

Peruvian Food Fatigue: A Love Story" I think I've reached peak Peru – my taste buds are numb, and my enthusiasm for even the most iconic dishes has waned. After days of ceviche, lomo saltado, and papas rellenas, everything starts to blend together. It's like my palate is saying, "Déjà vu, we've been here before... and before... and before." If we were here on day one, I'd be singing a different tune – "This is the best food ever! The flavors, the spices, the textures!" But after a culinary marathon, my senses are crying out for something new. Sorry, Inca grill, I know I'm supposed to be in love with your food, but I think I've reached food coma level 10. Maybe a break from all the ají amarillo and potatoes is in order? Can I just have a plain salad or something?

A restaurant that surrounds the armas plaza. It is a bit on the pricer side of restaurants in the area. They do have a full bar with many cocktail options. Drinks also. Guinea pig and alpca is available here. Went with the pepper steak and the maracuyeah
